Strategy development

Many companies either have no defined strategy at all, or they have a strategy that is so general that it does not really serve as a management tool for the company's direction and development.

I have extensive experience in strategy development and can help facilitate and formulate a business strategy that can make a difference.

A strategy process typically consists of a series of workshops with the management, where the company's strategic position as well as new opportunities and threats are discussed.

This is often combined with an analysis of relevant data, which can support conclusions or bring new perspectives into play. These analyzes can, for example, take an internal starting point in margins, turnover or growth for products or services.

They can also be externally oriented and focus on market or customer analyzes (customer satisfaction, customer knowledge, etc.).

Typically, a number of concrete initiatives are identified which are crucial to achieving success with the strategy (Must-Win Battles)

Examples of questions that are typically worked with:

  • What are our core competencies and how can we make the best use of them?

  • What are the biggest challenges and opportunities that our company faces in the current market?

  • How do we define success and what goals should we set to get there?

  • Who are our main competitors and what can we learn from them?

  • How can we better meet our customers' needs and expectations?

  • What new markets or segments could be interesting for us to explore?

  • How can technology and innovation support our strategic goals?

  • What are the potential risks of our current strategy and how can we mitigate them?
